Ministers of Communion
Ministers of Communion are called to serve the very life of the Church, the sacred Body and Blood of Christ. The sharing of Christ’s Body and Blood is the very source of our collective spiritual life. In this ministry you serve your community by sharing with them the mystery that makes us one.
New ministers must attend an evening of training and formation, held at various times throughout the year. Training sessions for new ministers are announced in the Parish Bulletin. Eucharistic ministers serve at whichever Mass you happen to attend each weekend, and usually serve two to three times a month. Ministers are also required to attend one or two evenings of formation a year.
